Support Michael & His Family

Dear friends, family, and supporters,

One of our own, Michael Aikhionbare, a dedicated member of the CSUSM Men’s Basketball team, needs our help. His family is facing an unimaginable challenge.

Last month, Michael’s father, Osarui, underwent surgery to remove a pituitary adenoma tumor from his brain. He now faces another major surgery in April to remove a tumor from his stomach. His mother, Isioma, has become his full-time caregiver, forcing her to stop working—leaving the family without their primary source of income.

Before this crisis, Osarui drove for Uber, and Isioma worked long hours as a Certified Nursing Assistant to support their family of five, including Michael and his two younger brothers. Now, with mounting medical expenses and a reduced household income, the family is navigating new financial challenges while continuing to prioritize their well-being and stability.

How You Can Make a Difference.

Your generosity can help ease their burden and give them hope. Just $100 can provide a week’s worth of meals—but any amount, big or small, will bring much-needed relief.

Give a gift today through Giviken to provide stability and support for Michael’s family during this difficult time. Every contribution goes directly toward food, utilities, and essential living expenses while Michael’s mom cares for her husband.

Let’s rally together for Michael and his family. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to them.

Thank you for standing with them in their time of need.
